1. No atheist would dispute that creationists can “do science”. Unless they are bat shit insane.

 

2. Not all dinosaurs were t-rex. And quite a lot of the bigger dinosaurs were peaceful plant-eaters. Like elephants. I’m afraid that elephants won’t be careful and could hurt me, but I’m not afraid that they will hunt me in packs.

 

3. Many creatures reproduce asexually, i.e. without a partner at all. There’s nothing to suggest that the way humans do it is the only possible solution. And for humans, sex is not just about children, in the same way that this is true for many other species.

 

4. Even if creationism were 100% true, evolution would have to exist to support it. Evolution is not a theory of the beginning of life, it’s merely the theory that children are not the same as their parents and that those differences tend to produce different populations over time.

 

5. I do not doubt that the Shroud of Turin exists, but even the Vatican accepts that it’s a fake, made much later than it should be. Radio-carbon dating has shown this.

 

6. Because we are a different species from monkeys and cannot interbreed with them. We have a different number of chromosomes.

 

7. Humans are social animals and feel a need to belong to a structure bigger than themselves.
