Before we discuss the issue we must have to know what racism is.
As the English dictionary says, “Racism is usually defined as views, practices and actions reflecting the belief that humanity is divided into distinct biological groups called races and that members of a certain race share certain attributes which make that group as a whole less desirable, more desirable, inferior, or superior.” Let’s see Mohammad’s attitude about African people and some other parts of the world whose skin and hair colours are different. We will take some verses (there are more in Bukhari)
Mohammad warned that dreams of black women meant disease was forthcoming. Black Muslims today are so uninformed that they don't even understand that Mohammad had many black slaves and called them raisin heads (Bukhari vol.1:662, vol.9:256). Ishaq 243:
I heard the Apostle say: ‘Whoever wants to see Satan should look at Nabtal!' He was a black man with long flowing hair, inflamed eyes, and dark ruddy cheeks…. Allah sent down concerning him: ‘To those who annoy the Prophet there is a painful doom." [9:61] "Gabriel came to Mohammad and said, ‘If a black man comes to you his heart is more gross than a donkey's.'
Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "I saw (in a dream) a black woman with unkempt hair going out of Medina and settling at Mahai'a, i.e., Al-Juhfa. I interpreted that as a symbol of epidemic of Medina being transferred to that place (Al-Juhfa)." (Bukhari 9:87:161).
And on the day of resurrection you shall see those who lied against Allah; their faces shall be blackened. Is there not in hell an abode for the proud? Koran.39;60.
Ishaq 374: The black troops and slaves of the Meccans cried out and the Muslims replied, ‘Allah destroys your sight, you impious rascals.’
Ibn Musa al-Yahsubi, Qadi ‘Iyad, p.375: Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, the companion of Sahnun said, “Anyone who says that the Prophet was black should be killed."
Mishkat, v. iii, p. 117: "Abu Darda reported that the Holy Prophet said: Allah created Adam when he created him (sic). Then he stroke (sic) his right shoulder and took out a white race as if they were seeds, and He stroke (sic) his left shoulder and took out a black race as if they were coals. Then He said to those who were in his right side: Towards paradise and I don't care. He said to those who were on his left shoulder: Towards Hell and I don't care. - Ahmad"
Islam is an ideology, whose sacred Scriptures contain explicit denigrating remarks about black people. Mohammad referred to Blacks as "raisin heads". (Sahih al-Bukhari vol. 1, no. 662 and vol. 9, no. 256).
In another Hadith, Mohammad is quoted as saying that Blacks are, "pug-nosed slaves". (Sahih Moslem vol. 9, p. 46-47).
Therefore, I will say according Mohammad’s own words he was a racist. No doubt of that.
