What is the meaning of ‘Born Again’ in the Gospel of John Chapter Three?

We read in the Gospel of Apostle John chapter 3 verses 1-3, “Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, ‘Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no-one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.’”

 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no-one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”

 Jesus did not describe details of it because it was beyond of our knowledge. Though our little brain and eyes we cannot see God or His so many works and we don’t even understand but by faith we believe how it works.

 We know black cow eats green grass and gives white milk. We can’t prove it why it happens? I myself don’t understand. We know all mums love her son or daughter. When baby cries mum gives them milk. This is call love but we cannot prove this love in any scientific laboratory in this world but we believe the action of mum by our faith. We can see the disaster of the violent wind. We can see how wind torn off roofs. We can see how houses and trees broke by the force of wind. Unfortunately we can’t see the wind. Only we can fill it.

 In the Old Testament on 2nd. Kings chapter five we see Naaman was commander of the army of the king Aram. He was a violent soldier, but he had leprosy. He came to Prophet Elisha to get healed. Prophet Elisha sent a messenger to say Naaman, “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleaned.” By faith Naaman washed himself seven times in the river of Jordan and get healed instantly. No one can prove it but by faith we believe it.

 Reborn in the Holy Spirit we cannot prove it nor I understand but by faith like a little child we have to humble to Christ. Because God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish(shall not go to hell) but have eternal life. We have to accept Him as our Saviour. We have to confess our sins to Him. We have to repent means we have to say sorry for our sins and have to promise that in near future we won’t commit sin again. We have to believe that our sin has forgiven by His grace not for our good work and we have to follow Christ in our daily life. That’s all. You have to do it publicly because remember Jesus died for our sin publicly. He paid the penalty in cross for me and for you in the mountain of the Calvary on the day light. On the third day Jesus rose from dead and freed us from the bondage of Satan.

 Our parents may be born again Christians but through their work or faith their children cannot be saved. There are no any religions in this planet or any prophets or any books or your good works will not save you from the eternal hell. God is NOT going to judge you (what some people thinks) according to your good and bad works. If this is the case I will say this is nothing but false promise by the Satan. Don’t follow it. We have to believe that God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

 I am giving you one plain example. “Group of people went to city centre to watch the great movie called “My fair Lady”. But when they arrived found, that five days ago all tickets have been sold out. Now these people cannot go back to village without watching this movie. They knew the villagers are waiting to hear from them. What they did, they bought books from the local shop and read it. They waited till the show finished. They gathered some used tickets and went back to village and told the story to the villagers.”

 Beloved brothers and sisters we have so many Christians like that in our society. Therefore don’t be fool and don’t play game with our living God. Don’t think Jesus is a prophet. If you think like that listen what the Holy Bible says, “Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believe in the name of God’s one and only Son.”(John3;18).
